finally succumbed to the fluuuu

If there's one thing I hate more than going to the dentist, it's taking medicine.

Really.

Especially in the tablet form.

I know it's just a stupid mental block which I can't get over but I don't think i'll ever get over it! Argh, it's such a pain to take tablets. I know it's just pop it into your mouth drink some water and swallow and you're done, that sort of thing, which is so simple and people don't even have to think about it, but it's so agnoizing for me! Think i have a phobia or something of some sort because everything I've tried in the past didn't work (banana, rice, bread, water, biscuits, look into the mirror and throw, don't think about it and just eat).

This time, it took 2 lemon biscuits 6 crackers and 2 glasses of water to swallow two tiny tablets.

Yay me! ._.

I painstakingly cut every tablet into about 12 pieces, and tried to mix it with the biscuit but everything goes down EXCEPT the stupid tablet. So I figured the best alternative I've found so far is to twist open the lemon biscuit, drop the pieces of the tablet into the biscuit and eat it normally. Cause then i won't know where the stupid tablet is. :D

Still tastes bitter like #!)(#@&*$^(@#)&(, because i still chew it, but it's better than nothing :D

Except i got the medicine today, so, 8 more meals to go. Gosh!

And my brother bought me (a hundred -.-) face masks, which are supposedly made of "bonded fibre fabric".

IT IS TISSUE PAPER, I TELL YOU. In fact maybe it would be better to use tissue paper since it doesn't have the funny smell.

And, NO SCHOOL FOR THREE DAYS! Can't decide whether i'm happy or not because i'll miss filmcluster(again ): ) band career ed (the guardian!!) maths ga and very mafan to hand in chinese pt and all that, but on the bright side i won't have to go for pft and i have more time to do my chinese pt, which i am very thankful for. (:

I hope i didn't pass my flu (my doctor says it's prolly not h1n1 though O:) to anybody, if i did i'm sorry! ): Especially my piano teacher! ><

Yesterday was an interesting day.

To sum it up,

I

1) worried about geog pt

2) did geog pt

3) laughed at poor people carrying goats

4) stayed up till four

5) found my three "Holly the Moose"s and decided they should be called Wholly, Holy, and Holey instead

6) learnt that yujia does not actually stay at tuas

...point 6 making me feel particularly cheated. Honestly, for 3 whole years of my life I thought she lives at tuas! O:

yeah today went to sheryl's house with kelly to, -cough-, do homework. What actually happened, well, it's not that hard to guess. Met kelly at Outram at 11.11 (:D) and then walked to Chinatown, ate a lot, and walked to sheryl's house! Which was super funny omg :D (I DIDN'T WATCH THE WUYUETIAN CONCERT DVD I'M STILL VERY SAD D: D: D: D: D:) haha i keep thinking about the human pyramid in the dark and i feel like bursting out laughing omg :D then came home for tuition, i think i yawned like 50 times, but at least i didn't feel sleepy. Quite productive, but I'm going to forget everything by tomorrow, confirm one.

Actually, if I can remember anything 20 minutes later, I would be surprised.

I feel quite inspired though. Whoo.

Oh yeah have to post about last tuesday 16th june went out with ping and pong to watch HANNAH MONTANA 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) the ew cinema (that's, eng wah) was super creepy and empty omg!? We didn't even know if it was the correct theatre -.- Because we were the only people there. I guess that made it even funner, cause, can scream and shout hoho (:

I LEARNT THE HOEDOWN THROWDOWN! And i was irritating kelly with it today like about 30 times I think. But it's really quite addictive leh (8

17th june, kim's house for film cluster! :D it was OH MY GOSH -.- grace and i took dunno how many buses it took like two hours to find them please!?! So disastrous but at least filming was :D though our script is seriously ... but haha i think the rain scene is super cool can :D our video is so awesome :D :D :D

19th june, band birthday! (Happy belated 44th birthday RGSSB (: ) It was quite fun heh! Section cooking, omg -.- after i came back from band birthday I got scolded by my maid cause we didn't put aluminium foil in the microwave and it was super hard to clean -.- oh well the rest of it was pretty good, besides the fact that our chicken wings kept running away :D and i swear i don't want to see another broiled chicken wing for the rest of the year -.- i ate so many chicken wings i think i'm going to turn into one soon.

oh band birthday was also when we came up with the dance video idea. bingrui in a chicken suit in a hannah montana wig ftw!! Bingrui and obama masks ftw!! :D HAHA WHY ALL BINGRUI?? Super retarded nvm.

then, NYW concert! It was really good :D Aaah! And emily found her shifu O: O: Holy water :D

batch outing (:

Batch outing! Full attendance! :D :D :D It was really awesome haha :D

Loaded Perseus into my phone in the morning, then met joanne at kovan station and made our way down to orchard (we were like the only ones that were late, woops ><) then amazing central race! :D It was such a mad rush, but fun all the same :D And the creative questions haha :P The poor people at the information counter had to keep answering our questions. ("Excuse me, do you know where are the minutes of the 9th council meeting!?") and haha the Lucky Prata :P Then went to takashimaya andddd then plaza sing (where we all pretended to eat the log table outside this chinese restaurant omg xD) Then vivocity, found sherylYN/sherylZX/deborah's ancestor shop and found out the price of the buddha painting heh, then to the sky park place. WHOO WATER :D And POWERPUFF GIRLS FTW! :D We ~~lost~~ came in second but oh well :D :D :D

Then bing and I excused ourselves by saying we were going to the toilet, then it was mad rush for the pandan cake and the spring roll and the potato bread again :P But it was all together very funny hahahaha almost dropped the pandan cake omg (oi we didn't, okay), the potato bread mysteriously disappeared at the cashier O: only to be found later in bingrui's hand (???). Okay la quite successful right :D

Then lunch, YUMYUM (: And batch dicussion, where we discovered this herd of ants coming for yujia's grass jelly thing which she spilt. Haha. Then more sb phototaking with the orange thing thing. Then, playground! :D Omg the circle photo was so awesome!!! too bad some people left already so it's not a full batch photo ): but the picture is really very nice :D :D :D will upload mine once i can find my camera wire.

Whoooooooooo vivocity really has a lot of nice phototaking spots :D and thennnnnnnnn drinks at short mary gold (okay nvm) which was epic. Quote of the day:

HAHA :D Then contemplated going into the freezer thingy for one buck at the natgeo place, but they were defrosting or something. And,

Then home, finally don't have to change train muahuaha :D Reached kovan station where we were commenting how the station smells/feels like home :D then at the escalator where i felt someone tap me then i thought it was joanne and i was going to turn around and say a bingrui-whaaaaat then hoah i realised it wasn't joanne it was rebecca who was behind us! O: O: O: Haha got a shock okay x) Heh she was on the same train as us except we didn't know!

Then KFC with joanne, except I didn't eat KFC :P watched this guy outside the glass window holding a picture of a girl and trying to sell something. Then home, but I can't remember much except I was so tired I actually slept before 12! (: And the day ended quite nicely so yeahh :D

Okay I'm not going to say I'm not upset, because I am, I am very very.

When we got the results through the phone I didn't have any reaction, really, just shock, but after a few minutes it started to sink in and...well. It was heartbreaking to see everyone being so supportive and suddenly they crumble... I guess that few hours were one of the most painful hours for me but section dinner made it better I guess, plus I got a lot off my chest. Finally.

(The drink spill was scary too though.)

But now that I'm home it's starting to get to me again that we got a silver...but it feels different now. Because I have no regrets that I didn't play my best and enjoy myself, I'm sure everyone did and I didn't think that our performance was that bad (screw g) in fact I think it was pretty good considering how scary it was and everything. So fine maybe the syf results weren't the most satisfactory...but syf itself to me was the best (:

I don't think there is much reason to be upset over our playing because I think we really did walk off the stage with pride.

anyway, i had the scariest nightmare last night. Sigh it involved frogs, green bubblegum, heavy rain, war, newspapers and stars, which sounds ridiculous but it was freaking scary ): until i woke up in the middle of the night and went like phewwwwwww it's just a dream but i couldn't sleep after that.

actually i can't remember a lot of it, just that i was in my house and everyone was rushing around doing something and i was feeling very scared because i knew i was supposed to do something but i didn't know WHAT and omg D:

i'm so tireddddddd OH DID YOU SEE THE RAINBOW TODAY (: i was eating at the dunno what place, and suddenly everyone was pointing at the sky and taking pictures, like O.o heehee! and omg the sky was freaking orange! like it was like HOAH whole thing orange SO COOL (:

did y'all see the sky todayyyyyyy

it was so pretty :D

I was just sitting in the car in the morning and feeling super sian and tired till i looked out of the window and i saw this amazing beautiful omg sunrise okay :D and it was so pretty i just had to take out my handphone and quickly send like 5 smses to different people to tell them about it so they could see it too :D (from my sms replies, i could see that most of them were asleep though D: so wastedddddd it was so pretty D:) too bad my camera is in australia right now i couldn't take picture!

it was so prettyyyyyyy!

i don't know why but i feel super super tired physically and mentally from band, i haven't had the energy to do anything at home since monday D: omg byebye homework!!! can forget about finishing it already la! i just come home and crash everyday D: some more yesterday i slept in the master bedroom to look after sophie and she kept waking me up in the middle of the night omg ><

my maid was asking me which days she has to wake me up for school, then i told her and she was like:

"Aiyo, what holidays!!!"

which made me super OMGG YEAH ):

not that i mind going back to school because band has been really funnnnn and awesomeee, and as funny as this sounds i love mr oura (: haha i liked band prac a lot on tuesday, i'm sure everyone did :D :D because everyone (or at least i) was putting their heart into it and OMGG turandot was so nice ._.

haha did you see the light flicker in the band room!!! :D i like practising in the band room cos mr oura is closer and can hear him more easily!

SHE'S 1!

SOPHIEEE IS ONEEE! Well actually it's tomorrow, but we celebrated it at my sis's condo today :D

We had to pump, tie and attach strings to about a hundred helium balloons, which was tiring but worth while because all the little kids were so happily occupied with the balloons. (Okay fine I was fascinated too, which is why I brought a pink one with purple string home, but i guess the helium is kinda diffusing out and all that so it only floats halfway in the air. Which is really creepy because I keep seeing this object floating behind me in the computer screen reflection. Okay I shall tie it down.)

I think helium balloons with a ribbon tied to it are such happy and sad objects are the same time (:

The same with bubbles, which I played with too. :D

And the food was good! The decorations were pretty too, and there was one of those cool cameras which i got to play with and took a few nice photos 8D Until my sis told me it costs $10,000 ._. then i stopped playing.

I attempted to make the modular star thing today! Except it isn't really working out.

Haha compare and contrast.

(Now my balloon keeps slapping me in the face. Gah.)

Check out the kuazhangness of it man. It was a HUGEEE cake and there was a HUGEEEE banner, like hoah Oo (the cake was like as long as her!?)

i swear, my mum wants me to die of a heart attack.

Otherwise, why would she parade around in white in the middle of the night, at strange corners of the house, so I can walk straight into this unknown white mass and scare the shit out of myself?

I should be studying about exocytosis and strange things like that right now, but I've been doing so for the past 2193883764082798 hours and I'm SO SIAN ):

12.07pm, Sunday

This morning (okay, afternoon), my brother rushed to my room and jolted me awake and less than 10 seconds later I was out of the house on a bicycle to nowhere. Well okay, actually, on a bike to see the old swimming complex opposite my house which was completely renovated to become a bar or something like that. I'd take a swimming pool any day =/ And then we played frisbee :D under the hot hot sun, and THEN i came into the house to brush my teeth.

What a way to start a day.

ARGH MY POST JUST GOT DELETED.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY (:

ANYWAY

i'm sick ):

but yesterday was fun even though it was friday the thirteenth! (: i feel so loved :D i'm sorry if you didn't get a card from me i didn't manage to make for a lot of people ): but i love you anyway! :D kelly's card was funny, because everyone packed their chocolate nicely in cute bags and cards and stuff, but her card was like vanguard sheet and like, her toblerone was stuck on with masking tape xD i love you all :D

lifeskills yesterday was quite funny (: joanne and i are the most horrible cooks, EVER. We dropped half our ingredients, either on the table, the sink, the floor or the dustbin. (Except you didn't need to know that.) And since we're at the table at the back, we don't get much attention from the teacher, so. Our cooking was quite fail, everytime I asked Joanne to test the food, this strange constipated look forms on her face, so I was like, never mind.

And I was feeling sick so I couldn't taste/smell anything D: Not like our pineapple rice actually had any taste. I think the week we made cake was better :D (haha jinghui's leaning tower of pisa cake :D)

and our tomyum soup, which we forgot to add lime or smth so, it just tasted like hot water, hot as in chilli hot, which joanne actually liked O.o

Though the peeling of raw prawns was quite funny because joanne got all squealy at the prawn innards! Well it was actually quite gross, but. (this is one of the ingredients joanne dropped into the sink) she also split the OTHER prawn for the pineapple rice onto the table xD and i dropped the water chestnut into the bin thing while trying to peel it. And the week before I dropped the bowl of blueberry cream on the floor (but it was so sticky it stayed in the bowl, so still can use right?)

i feel nauseous Dx good night!

PS: I can't eat my chocolate until i get well! D: D: and i have a lot because my mum's friend gave me more ferrero rochers today :D

sunblock, fishbones and reunion dinners :D

haha another late post, and obs was like looong over. Jinghui is right, OBS will be forgotten, which is sad. I feel too lazy to blog about obs now! But it was awesome all the same, luxna jiayuan grace huiting rachel rain sherilyn sherry june chengjing becky yu-ann and jill! :D I didn't grow very homesick at all O: from the third day onwards i kinda dreaded having to go home soon.

Everyone was saying how fun kayaking was (maybe just jinghui) but it definitely wasn't the best first experience with kayaking. Sherilyn and June my kayaking buddies, thanks you guys are awesome and funny! And we were all freaking out so bad when we got washed away to the rocks and jill had to tow us out o.o when we reached that kekek place we were salty and sandy and wet but there were obviously no toilets so it was quite terrible, but now i think about it it's fun la :D and i felt like the whole floor was moving up and down the whole night!

oh yeah a yellow fish jumped into our kayak in the middle of the sea, i thought it was a leaf, then i realised that i was in the middle of the ocean and there are no trees around me, then the leaf started moving and i screamed :D and the neighbouring kayaks just looked and laughed -.-

I completely forgot about my birthday until noon when my watch sang me a birthday song at puaka or something like that :D and I made such a fuss about it before i went for obs too. Haha I was probably too tired to remember it, but thanks to all those who wished me happy birthday or gave me presents etc etc THANK YOU sooo much, my birthday was awesome (: though i felt like my birthday was spreaded out over two weeks :D you guys are aweeesomeee :D <3

hoah next year i'll be able to watch NC16 movies :D (jinghui has like two more years! 8D)

oh did i mention i actually did the jetty jump :D heehee the water went into my nose which wasn't pleasant but still :D

today's new year's eve, so there's reunion dinner (at my house) and my mum is so busy preparing for dinner there's no lunch for everyone -.- but my sis found edible things in the fridge! :D

yesterday was...eventful. It started off as a pleasant saturday morning with no guitar and piano, and i was happily eating nasi lemak for lunch, before i CHOKED ON A FISHBONE. And the rest of the day just died. I visited 5 clinics but none of them were open D: and i went all the way to some other serangoon place, and the doctor couldn't see the bone so he couldn't do anything Dx and he said i should go to a hospital where they'll stick a hose down my nose into my throat to take it out, UGH. I freaked out, so I didn't go. Anyway I didn't think there was a need to, it'd just disappear right?

So i went home and i was made to drink vinegar, huge rice balls, bread and SEVENTEEN pieces of sushi, but I wasn't sure if any of them worked -.- but thank goodness I woke up this morning and it's GONE :D

my uncle and aunties are here, reunion dinner's prolly starting soon. wah i can hear my two cousins coming up the stairs already better switch off my laptop or they'll take over it! may everyone have a happy reunion dinner (:

today is not a happy day

(HOAH i just realised that my 1st jan post was my hundredth post!!! SO COOL! :D I know 100 isn't a lot but seeing how regular I post, I guess that's understood. -.- I had this blog since P6, you know)

Today was a seriously strange first day of school. It didn't really sink in that we're sec 3s already and the sec 4s(08) won't be in the same school as us ever again until i reached school and saw the people wearing prefect uniforms and yeah. I am very not used to it. And first day of school wasn't all that great either, but I guess it'd get better. I WISH KELLY WAS IN MY CLASS D:

The school is cruel, starting school on friday is like as good as starting school twice, because over the weekend we kind of sink back into holiday mode and it doesn't feel like school really started yet. Except of course today I was so tired (could anybody sleep last night) I came home and crashed.

On a happier note, my cousins are here till 10th jan till they fly off for australia :D and after that--OBSSSSS. during my birthday somemore! D: i know i keep complaining, but ack. ><

my piano is screwed for tomorrow. what's new =/

HAPPY NEW YEAR :D

Oh my gosh school starts tomorrow i still cannot believe it!! And definitely not looking forward to it. ): I have forgotten everything I've learnt over the past two years! D: The holidays passed really fast this time round D:

Anyway my gosh I can't believe it's 2009 already. 2009 felt so far away just days ago. I think I should come up with new year resolutions for once. On second thought I'm too lazy.

Okay my first resolution is not to be lazy and procrastinate. -.-

Aiyah I'm really too lazy, I shall start doing it from tomorrow onwards :D

Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIEJIE :D I shared a present with my brother (which was so expensive!) it's from l'occainte or something like that. (Yes my sis was born on 1st Jan how cool is that ;) )

Last night was cool because I watched my favourite band performed during the first hour of 2009 ;) I need a good start to a new year because otherwise I will feel that my year will be very screwed. Unfortunately today wasn't a very pleasant day, but oh well. Today's actually no difference from yesterday, I mean I didn't suddenly change or anything, it's just a psychological thing you know, like a new year, so everything should start anew. Because yesterday was still a yesterday, it's no different from how I feel every day of the year =/ Except today you can call yesterday last year :D

Okay I'm confusing myself.

My dad did the Take-height-and-weight thing today again, it's a family tradition every year to see how much fatter you've grown -.- okay fine it's actually to see how you grow through the years, but it is never a pleasant process. And i was looking through the record book and i realised my weight fluctuates greatly O: AND MY HEIGHT, MY HEIGHT IS ALMOST LIKE, SLOWING DOWN TO A STOP CAN!? I mean I'm still growing but not much. If it was a graph, it'd be the kind that slopes downwards and curves inwards because it's slowing down, you know? OHMYGOSH i need to drink more milk or smth.

School starts tomorrow :S I don't feel very well.

hello!

omg 2008 is ending so fast! even though i keep saying it hasn't been a good year, i still can't bear to let it go all the same. i have a feeling 2009's going to be scary!

anyway yay yesterday was ccao and coda! by the time coda ended and joanne and i was at the mrt on the way home, it had been such a long day that ccao didn't feel like it was on the same day, it felt like the day before! ccao was okay, i didn't forget to bring anything. the slideshow was quite amusing haha! then we were supposed to go home but somehow ended up with joanne at acs-.-

then by the time i reached home it was 3 plus, then i fell asleep for about 4 seconds on the floor before my maid shoo-ed me away. then after that i chionged to city hall but i wasn't late :D and i couldn't find anyone because we were waiting on opposite sides of the station -.- and yay all-white! :D dinner at the pizza place was so funny i choked on my pizza! Mr UB! (go figure) everybody was laughing like siao except jinghui who refused to laugh along and looked irritated at us. laughing is good for you! you look at bingrui! explains your height!

(SORRY i'm joking, really!)

and everyone put so much cheese we were saying that the pizza place loses a lot of money to customers like us, who used practically a whole bottle of cheese. (emily and yujia are the most kuazhang, so much cheese until you can't tell what they're eating)

then we wrote on the order form to ask them to cut the pizza into 7 pieces HAHA xD but when it came there was 8 anyway la. and i was so ingenious with coming up with how to cut the last piece! 8D

emily is very _____. i don't know what's the right word to describe, it's not really kiasu, or aunty, or typical singaporean, or ego, or cheapskate, it's more of a mixture of everything. and it's hilarious. (sorry emily i say until you are like so terrible like that, you're not!)

and we mistaked the high court for VCH. apparently sheryl(zx) did too haha! then...yeah. the concert itself was enjoyable and good :D, though emily's comments made the whole thing very funny. and bingrui's comments haha! They're probably censored so can't post here ;D

and the 8 of us taking the mrt home were so clueless as to where it was, right after we came out of vch we walked in two different directions, and then we didn't even know where we were going we just followed anybody who was in front of us (keyun and talia) and then after a while then we found out they weren't going to the mrt and we were like "oh!" and turned back, and when we turned back some people crossed the zebra crossing and some continued walking along the pavement and we were like !!??! but we made it to the mrt haha.

and we were walking in twos, and amanda/yixian overtook me/bingrui, so we decided to overtake them and we started running, so the six of us at the back were running, and joanne/sherylzx (who were quite a distance ahead) turned back and saw us running and thought we wanted to catch the traffic light so they started running too, so everyone was running for no reason haha!

then i met my brother at kovan haha i felt quite bad for making him wait so long>< this morning-okay, afternoon- i woke up at 1 plus heh! and i ate my lunch/dinner at 4pm!

omg 2008's going to be over!

ham, cheese and lemon ants

okayyyy so i haven't blogged in the longest time. I should either continue posting regularly or just dump this blog altogether but obviously i can't bear to do the second option, so.

anyway merry christmas to everyone, or anyone, that (still) reads my blog. I planned to spend today at home lazing around with my family but obviously everyone had different plans so I spent most of the day with my brother. Today really didn't feel christmas-y at all! My brother said it felt like christmas because the weather was cold but to me there was no christmas mood at all, maybe because there was no present exchange this year (according to my brother, recession x) )

anywayy today was a good day which mostly consisted of eat, watch, eat, watch, eat, which is quite gross because we were watching bizarre foods by andrew zimmern and the food was just gross but somehow we always manage to get our appetite back about 3 minutes after we finish an episode. And we went to NTUC to buy stuff and cooked omelette :D which was yummy! and then it was more andrew zimmern, got grossed out, then ate dinner :D

I haven't posted about batch chalet and inunion, but i'm feeling damn sian and lazy and worried about the stupid performance thingummy and spending so much uneccessary time on it that i don't have to heart and energy to post about it. Plus, my dear laptop is down so I can't load photos.
